Engage Dental Videos
The majority of patients referred to you have never previously met you, and may may be nervous about potential treatment. “What does the doctor look like? Is the office nice? Are the staff professional? Is it a he or a she? Is he gentle?” You can help reduce patient anxiety by letting them get to know you through a brief introductory video of your practice.
Dr. Shelley of Elm Endodontics felt that he could help reduce patient anxiety and build their confidence by providing a short video. He shot the video himself using a Nikon D90 with either a 50mm or 28-200mm lens (see more tips on how to shoot your own video here). He then uploaded the video clips to us at Engage Dental, and we produced the final product.
We like that we get to know Dr. Shelley, his staff, his office, his technology, and some of his philosophy. We also tune the video to be optimized for search engines – something that will assist in raising your rankings. The video is found on his home page as well as in the patient registration module. Most of his patients register on-line and see the video as they click through the patient registration module. The result? When Dr. Shelley walks in the room patients no longer say in surprise, “Wow! You could be my 12 year old grandson!”
